I want to apologize to everyone who reads this blog and has wondered where it's been lately. The fact is that I've been so busy writing my book manuscript that I haven't had time to blog. Whenever I'm in a writing mood, I'm working on the manuscript, and by the time I can't write anymore, there's no way I can work on a blog.
The good news is that all the hard work is paying off. My niece (with whom I'm writing the book) and I have finished the first half. We're on track to get it done by the end of the year. It will be a wonderful Christmas present to ourselves to have a completed manuscript.
Well, back to work. I'll try to poke my head up and post another blog soon, but I'll definitely be shouting from the rooftops when this manuscript is finished.
Blessings to all!

Thank you, Internet!
It's official: The internet is fantastic. I've never been one for new technology. My TV had shown State of the Union Addresses from about 10 different presidents, but I never noticed it was old until my brother bought me a new one. That's when I finally realized everything I was missing with my tiny, dark screen and lousy sound quality.
I also never expected to appreciate a computer so much - until I started using one, of course. Now I can't imagine how people ever wrote books on typewriters because word processing is so easy and convenient. I also love having all my music stored and available at the touch of a key.
I've been using the internet for awhile to send emails and surf for information, but it wasn't until recently that I started using it to help stay in touch with my clients and promote my business. Now I wonder why I waited so long!
With my website, Twitter, Facebook, and blog up and running, I'm able to communicate with both new and existing clients as well as people who I had lost touch with. I had been worried about leaving the psychic line I used to work at because I didn't want those clients to feel like I'd abandoned them. Turns out, some of them found me through my online presence. It's so good to hear from them and have a chance to catch up with what they've been doing.
Another added bonus of online networking is that I'm hearing from some former clients and friends of my mother's. It's been many years since she had to stop working due to health problems, but she left a lasting impression on the people she touched. They remember her fondly and are writing to tell me how much she meant to them.
So I love the internet and how it's allowing me to stay connected with the people I care about, as well as helping to forge connections with new people.
Many thanks to those of you who get in touch with me everyday. Blessings to you all!

Newest Project: A Book!
If I wasn't busy enough starting to conduct psychic readings on KEEN.com, I'm now working on a whole new project: I'm writing a book! It's something I've always wanted to do, and my mother enjoyed writing as well.
This manuscript is based on my years working as a psychic advisor, and I have to say that it's even more fun than I had imagined. The best way to describe it is as part memoir and part self-help book. My dearest hope for this book is that it will allow me to help more people than I can through individual readings alone.
For this book, I'm recollecting scores of stories about my years of performing psychic readings and explaining how I conduct those readings. These stories range from funny to happy to tragic and everything in between. There will literally be something for everyone in this book, and I'm so excited about it.
It will take awhile to complete this manuscript and get it into print, but I promise it will be worth the wait! I'll be posting periodic updates here, so please stay tuned.
Blessings to all!

Psychic Reading Feedbacks
It's a thrill to hear back from clients who are pleased with their psychic readings. Sometimes they call me with follow-up details about situations we've discussed previously, while sometimes they send me email, and sometimes they leave feedback at the KEEN website. No matter how my clients choose to contact me, it's an incredible feeling to know that I've made a positive difference in their lives. It's especially touching because it takes time for clients to go in and leave feedback. That extra time they're willing to share means that they want me to feel good and help me improve my future readings.
What's funny is that sometimes people who are new to the KEEN site are skeptical about whether the feedbacks that are listed there are really from actual clients. If you're wondering about that, let me reassure you: Yes, all of those feedbacks are from actual clients who I've spoken to on KEEN. They leave a star rating and many also offer written comments, both of which I greatly appreciate.
My goal is for 100% client satisfaction, but sometimes no matter how hard you try, it's impossible to please everyone all the time. So I look at my overwhelmingly positive feedback ratings and combine that with the fact that the vast majority of my clients call me back for follow-up readings, and I'm satisfied that I'm doing good work for my clients. Do I ever think, "I wonder if there was something else I could have said to help that client?" Of course I do. Like everyone else, I'm only human, so second-guessing myself comes with the territory. But during my readings, I generally feel like I've made a connection with the clients. Then when I learn that my clients are pleased with their readings, I'm overjoyed to hear those kind, encouraging words.
Many thanks to those of you who have taken the time to provide me with feedback following one of our readings, and also thanks to you who read that feedback and decide to pick up the phone and call me. My beloved clients truly make my work worthwhile.
Blessings to all,
Louise Helene

Thanks to my beloved clients!
Since I began conducting psychic readings at KEEN.com in June, I've been thrilled by the reception I've gotten from my beloved clients. As I mentioned in a blog earlier this month, moving from one psychic line to a new one was an intimidating prospect. Would I find as many wonderful clients at KEEN? Would my old clients be able to find me? Would I enjoy my readings as much?
I'm thrilled to report that the answer to all those questions is a resounding yes! I've been welcomed with open arms by my new clients at KEEN, while many of my old clients have gone out looking for me and found me. To top it off, I'm enjoying my work even more now than I ever did before.
In other words, I want to send a huge Thank You to my beloved clients, both old and new. Every day I'm grateful for the opportunity to be a part of your lives, and I look forward to speaking with each of you.
I hope you have a happy and safe weekend. Blessings to all.

Psychic Readings 101
When I meet people and tell them what I do for a living, one of the first questions they ask is, "How do you conduct a psychic reading?" And they're not the only ones who are curious. Many of my clients - both new and old - admit to wondering about my process when they contact me for readings. Some first-time clients are downright nervous about their readings, since they don't know what to expect.
In order to answer this question, I've written the essay "Psychic Readings 101" and posted it on my website. Hopefully it will address both people's curiosity and their fear of the unknown. You can read the essay on my website by clicking here: http://www.louisehelenethepsychic.com/psychic%20readings%20101.html Afterward, I hope you'll call me for a demonstration of how a psychic reading can help you.
I look forward to talking to you.

Client Q&A: Send money to Nigerian prince?
I talk to so many clients every day who are eager to find true love. They are wonderful people with open hearts who just want to share their lives with someone special. Unfortunately, sometimes they're so eager to fall in love that the rational part of their minds takes a vacation. That's when I'm particularly glad that they contact me first before doing anything rash. The question below might seem like an extreme case, but I heard something very much like this recently. As always, details are changed to protect confidentiality.
Dear Louise Helene:
Please help me! I'm desperately in love with a wonderful man and the best part is that he's a Nigerian prince! Can you imagine? Ever since I was a little girl I've dreamed about being a princess in a fairy tale, and now my dreams are about to come true! Except for one little problem. He's trapped in Nigeria and needs $3000 so he can fly to America and we can be married. You see, rebels have taken over the Nigerian government and thrown him and his family out of the royal palace. They've even frozen all their bank accounts, so he can't buy a plane ticket.
You might be skeptical about him, and believe me, I was at first, too. We met over the internet and even though we've never seen each other in person, we've emailed every day for two months. He's sent me pictures of himself and he's tall, dark, and handsome, just like a prince should be. He even sent me a picture from when his family was still leading the government, and he was wearing a sash across his chest, just like you see on royals and diplomats in the movies. This man is the real thing!
Please tell me what to do. I love this man and can't stand to think that he's a political prisoner in his own home, but $3000 is a lot of money. None of my family or friends will lend it to me because they say this is a scam. What do you think? How can I help him?
Dody in Dallas
Dear Dody:
I'm very sorry to tell you this, but I think you should block Prince Charming's email address and not respond to him anymore. Sadly, this story sounds too much like a spam email that's been sent to millions of people around the world. The unfortunate truth is that there are a lot of people out there who want to take advantage of others. I strongly feel that this man is one of them.
You are a kind, loving person who can't stand to see someone else in pain, so you want to help him. But please understand that this man isn't really in pain. He's not telling the truth about his situation. He's not in danger. And he's not a prince.
One piece of advice that I often give my clients is to listen to their family and friends. Sure, sometimes one of them can get a false impression about your new boyfriend, but if everyone you talk to tells you the same thing, you should take it seriously. While you might be temporarily blinded by love or desire, those closest to you probably aren't, so they have valuable advice to share.
When love really does come for you - and I feel it will - you will know it. And it won't cost you $3000.
Blessings to all,
Louise Helene

Taking the leap
Sometimes it's frightening to leave something old behind and take the leap into uncharted waters. Whether it's getting out of an unsatisfying relationship or quitting a job or buying a new car, there's something comforting and safe about those things we're familiar with. But it's often necessary to leave them behind in order to position yourself for something even better that's waiting just around the corner.
I'm not immune from this situation. Recently I've started conducting more of my psychic readings in partnership with a company called KEEN.com. They give me both the technical support and the freedom I need to take my psychic advisor business to the next level. But shifting from the companies I've worked with for a number of years produces anxiety. Yes, I know it's the right decision, but that doesn't always make it easier.
So if you're one of the clients who's been looking for me on another line, please come visit me at KEEN. Some of you might know me as Louise on another psychic phone line where I was the top psychic of 2010. I look forward to talking to all of my clients - both old and new - very soon.

Client Q&A: Who's wearing her panties?
After decades of performing psychic readings for my clients, I've heard it all - and I mean everything! One thing I've learned in that time is that we can gain insight into solving our own problems when we hear about how someone else addressed a similar situation. With that in mind, I'm going to periodically use my blog to address some of the questions I've heard from my clients and the advice I offered them. Of course, clients' names and identifying details will be changed, so if you have a question, I hope you won't hesitate to contact me so I can help. If you have a question you'd like answered here, you can send me an email, post a comment, or go through my Facebook page. Of course, if you'd like a personal consultation, you can call my psychic line.
Whether you get a chuckle from a question you read here or it helps you in your current situation, I know that hearing about other people's problems reminds us that we are not alone in the never ending quest for love and happiness. Blessings to all!
Dear Louise:
Help! I love my boyfriend very much, and I thought our relationship was going great until the other night when I came home early from work. I walked into the bedroom to find another woman wearing my red bra and panties! Well, at first I thought it was another woman, until I noticed the hairy chest...and then his face. It was my boyfriend! I turned and ran.
What should I do? I've been staying at my parents' house for a couple days and haven't talked to him since that night. Please help me!!!
Linda
Dear Linda:
Oh, my goodness, what a shock that was for you! But now that you've had some time to calm down, you need to call your boyfriend. Nothing is ever resolved by running away. Meet your boyfriend in a public place, like a restaurant, and discuss the situation with him. I feel that he does have a fetish about ladies' intimate wear, but he's a good, sweet guy. Get everything out in the open because he has been hiding this from you, and a big secret like that strains a relationship. Then you need to decide if you want to work on this with him under the guidance of a therapist or just call it quits. I feel he will go along with anything you want because he loves you very much. My prediction is that the two of you will work it out. Good luck.

Where to find that special someone?
It's hard to find someone new for a romantic relationship, as so many of my clients tell me every day. Single people go from home to work then back to home everyday, with maybe a stop at the gym or grocery store in between. Can any of those spots be harboring your soulmate?
First of all, dating someone at work has its problems because there might be company rules - either formal or informal - against it. Also, it could turn into an awkward situation if you break up. On the other hand, it's a way to get to know someone before taking the plunge. And at least you know that the person you have your eye on is gainfully employed.
Meeting at the gym is a maybe, but people are usually pretty focused on their workouts. They also might not feel like they're at their most attractive while dripping sweat and panting. On the other hand, someone who's hanging around a gym is probably making an attempt to keep himself/herself in good shape. And fitness is an interest that gives you something in common and offers opportunities to do things together as a couple.
Some people say that grocery stores are the new night clubs for meeting Mr. or Ms. Right. Some grocery stores have even tried "singles nights" with limited success. Meeting someone here might be a better choice than a bar because you're sober, so less likely to make bad choices and engage in risky behavior. You can also peek into his basket and see if his story about his background checks out. For instance, if he says he's single and lives alone, but he's buying tampons, you might want to ask some questions. I have never done a reading for a client who told me about developing a lasting relationship with someone they met at a grocery store. Maybe the fluorescent lights and adult contemporary music over the intercom put a damper on the mood. Or maybe it happens all the time, and those people have such happy relationships that they don't call me about them.
The fact is that people meet in lots of both likely and unlikely spots. Just keep your eyes and your heart open to the possibilities. You never know. That man squeezing peaches next to you in the produce section might just be the future father of your children.

Advice for women seeking love
During the more than 30 years I've spent working as a psychic advisor, I've conducted thousands of readings for hundreds of clients. A vast majority of those clients are women seeking advice about love and relationships. Sure, I'm consulted about other issues, like money and family and work, but love tops the list. Needless to say, I've heard it all - the good, the bad, the ugly, and the hilarious. My clients have had a good laugh, a good cry, and a good old fashioned gripe session.
One thing that I always try to explain to my clients is the importance of trusting their intuition. I've seen too many women (and some men, too) get themselves into sticky situations because they didn't trust that gut instinct that told them what they were doing was a bad idea. Too often, people get into those situations because they're so desperate to find love that they ignore their better judgement. For instance, if a woman meets a man online who says he's her soulmate, but he can't get to her city unless she sends him money for a plane ticket, she knows deep down that he's a scam waiting to happen. But she might ignore the voice that tells her to block him from her computer. Why? Because she wants to believe she's found the right guy.
The fact is that any old frog can look like Prince Charming if you squint hard enough. So my advice for today is to open your eyes and trust your intuition.

I know what you're thinking...
You're thinking why should you follow another blog? You're already probably spending way too much time every day reading these things. But this one's different. I'm a psychic reader and spiritual advisor who can offer unique insights. Just ask the hundreds of clients who have come to me for advice about their love lives, their jobs, and everything else you can imagine.
I'm a second generation psychic, Tarot card reader, and spiritual advisor who has been in the field for over 30 years. I was only 12 years old when I performed my first psychic reading at the urging of my mother, Spriritualist minister and psychic radio show host Reverand Louise Helene. I developed my gift by helping my late mother run a successful psychic advisor business, and today I have my own large following of loyal clients who praise my accuracy, compassion, and humor. My mother believed in treating people with respect, and I put her teachings into practice every day.
For the past several years, I've been conducting most of my psychic readings at a popular telephone psychic line. I'm now in the process of expanding my business and working for myself. Yes, it's a big step that makes me a little nervous, but ultimately I'll be able to provide my clients with better service. Soon my new website will be up and running, but in the meantime, please come visit me at Facebook (Louise Helene the Psychic) and Twitter (Louise Helene). I'd love to see you there!
Finally, I have to offer a disclaimer: I'm not an attorney, a financial planner, an accountant, a doctor, a psychologist, a veterinarian, an NBA player, a NASCAR driver, a lion tamer, or any number of other professionals who you might ask for specialized advice. I can tell you what I see in your future, but please seek appropriate professional advice when the situation warrants it. The law requires me to point out that my comments are for entertainment purposes only.
I'm glad you're here!
