The Original Louise Helene

A lot of people have asked me where I learned my skills as a psychic advisor. My answer is that I was blessed with the best possible teacher: my late mother the original Louise Helene. She spent decades advising her clients both in person and through her psychic radio show, and she taught me to develop my own psychic sense so I could carry on her work when she was gone. My mother started teaching me early. I was only five years old when I attended my first séance, and twelve when I gave my first psychic reading.

I learned a great deal by assisting my mother in her psychic advisor business. When I was younger, my mother's clients usually came to our house for their consultations. I was responsible for scheduling her appointments and greeting clients when they arrived. Sometimes clients would tell me their problems when they called to set up a consultation or while they sat in our living room waiting to go into my mother's office for their readings. I always had a desire to help the clients and strong feelings about how they could solve their problems. Discussing those conversations with my mother gave me a chance to get feedback about the accuracy of my insights and how to discuss difficult topics with clients.

My mother was an excellent teacher and shared her gift with others when she taught adult education classes on psychic empowerment. She was also a writer and left the family a memoir about her early life when she passed away. Because of my mother's love of books, I know she's pleased to see her name on the cover of my upcoming psychic relationship book I SAW YOUR FUTURE AND HE'S NOT IT: A PSYCHIC'S GUIDE TO TRUE LOVE. Writing a book was always a dream of hers, and now it's like that dream has come true. I'm so grateful for the opportunity to help make this book a reality.

Blessings to all,

Louise Helene

A Wide Audience

While writing my upcoming book I SAW YOUR FUTURE AND HE'S NOT IT: A PSYCHIC'S GUIDE TO TRUE LOVE, my co-author and niece Kim Osborn Sullivan and I geared it primarily toward women. Since so many of my clients who call for psychic readings are women calling for love and relationship advice, that was our target audience. Certainly I knew that it would appeal to some men. I have a healthy number of male clients and they're definitely not immune to worries about their love lives. Also, a couple of my brothers and Kim's husband have read it and offered positive feedback, but in general, we thought the title and subject of the book, along with its pink cover and female-oriented viewpoint would speak to women more than men. But early signs are pointing to an unexpected source of male book-buyers.

My co-author Kim has been promoting some of her other books at author fairs around Chicago these past couple months, and while she's speaking with readers, she's also handing out promotional postcards for I SAW YOUR FUTURE. We're thrilled that so many people are enthusiastic about the book, but as expected, most of the people who ask about it are women. However, there are also a substantial number of men who take the promo cards and ask when the book will be available for sale. When Kim talks to them, it turns out that many are fathers and they want to give a copy to their daughters. The fathers say they like this book's emphasis on empowering women to be in control of their love lives and trusting intuition when it says something isn't right. These fathers are looking for ways to protect their daughters from men who might take advantage of unsuspecting young women.

We hadn't written the book specifically to make a dad's job easier, but now that they mention it, I SAW YOUR FUTURE does offer some much-needed help. It makes Kim and I feel so good to know that our message is already coming through, and we hope the book will benefit many people – both men and women.

Blessings to all,
Louise Helene

World-class athletes work hard for years to make it to the Olympic Games in order to compete with the best of the best and hopefully win a medal for their home countries. But who says they can't win Olympic gold AND find true love at the same time? My niece and co-author of our upcoming book I SAW YOUR FUTURE AND HE'S NOT IT: A PSYCHIC'S GUIDE TO TRUE LOVE has blogged about a pair of beloved Olympic athletes who overcame the odds to fall in love. Summer lovin'

Summer has arrived. These long, sunny days and warm nights bring thoughts of romance to many of my cherished clients. Whether they have a prospective lover in mind, want to improve an existing relationship, or long for romance with someone they haven't met yet, there's a sense of urgency in the air. All of us must think of the future and make plans, but sometimes those plans prevent us from enjoying the present.
Just last night, a client called and told me about the wonderful evening she had spent with her boyfriend. He took her out for dinner to a little Mexican restaurant, he had three musicians in the restaurant serenade her, and later he held her hand as they took a long, romantic stroll along the lakefront. It sounded like a perfect evening, and I told her so. That's when she admitted how the evening had been tainted because the whole time they were together, she kept wondering when he was going to pop the question.
"Why hasn't he proposed yet?" she moaned, before bursting into tears.
I was able to tell her that I felt he would propose before summer ended, but I also pointed out that her expectations were causing her to miss out on the joy of a blossoming romance. The evening with her boyfriend could have formed a beautiful memory that would last her whole life, but instead she'll look back on it with bitter disappointment. What a shame.
My advice to that young woman, as well as all my clients, is to have goals and plans for the future, but enjoy and savor the present. It really is about the journey, after all. And while you're focused on that, your destination will follow.

Blessings to all,
Louise Helene

A Happy New Year

The holidays are a busy time for psychic advisers. Some people call me at that time of year because the holidays make them feel lonely or financially burdened or discouraged after last year's goals never came to fruition. On the other hand, others call because they're happy and want to share good news. The new year frequently brings new love interests, engagements, and, interestingly, baby announcements. So between the good news and the bad, I get to speak to many of my beloved clients.

This year I was grateful that my schedule allowed me to spend at least a few hours on Christmas and New Years Day speaking to clients. It was wonderful because it allowed me to share part of each holiday with the people who make my work so satisfying. I was able to celebrate with clients who had good news to share, while helping put others into a more cheerful mindset going into the new year.

So as we go into 2012, I want to wish all my clients the blessings of love, health, and prosperity. Thank you for making 2011 so special for me, and I look forward to speaking to you in the coming year.

Blessings to all!
